GitHub is a first-class integration: OAuth connect, repository sync, push and pull-request webhooks, commit-status checks, issue filing, and remediation pull requests.

  1. Connect GitHub

Choose Connect GitHub in Integrations. You are redirected to GitHub to authorize the BeeraSafe OAuth app with repository read access.

  2. Import repositories

Pick an organization and import repositories. Rampart syncs the default branch, visibility, language, and last push.

  3. Add the webhook

Point a repository webhook at /api/rampart/webhooks/github with your webhook secret. Pushes trigger rescans; pull requests get a security check.

  4. Gate merges with policies

The Production Security Gate fails the check when findings at or above your threshold appear, so risky code cannot merge quietly. Custom policies unlock on business plans and above.

  5. Disconnect

Disconnect anytime from Integrations. Tokens are deleted; findings and history stay for your records.

Security note
Rampart requests the minimum OAuth scopes for reading code and opening approved pull requests and issues. Tokens are encrypted at rest, webhook payloads are HMAC-verified, and secret values are never displayed in full.
